About the area

In Zsámbék and its surroundings you can choose from a wide range of excursions and recreational opportunities, for which we provide free bicycle use!

You can taste the best wines of the area, or explore the romantic Romtemplom (church ruins), the Zichy Castle, the Zárdakert, the Turkish well, the Tájház (Country House) or the Lamp Museum! The Szépia Hotel also offers a wide range of wellness, fitness and other sports facilities. And on Tuesdays and Fridays, the local market is open to all, with produce from small farmers and traders in the area.

In a short distance to Zsámbék you can also find places to explore such as the Budakeszi Wildlife Park and Adventure Park, the Etyek wine region, the Korda Film Park, the Páty Wine Cellars, Garancsi Lake (with original set pieces from the Hungarian film ‘Üvegtigris’), the Telki Panorama Point, the Bajnai Castle, the Biatorbágy Viaduct, the Turul Bird monument and nature tail of Tatabánya, and the beautiful lakes of Tata!
